This 20 room guest facility on a
sprawling 7acre green turf was built in 1860s to house European
Guests of the Estate and was named European Guest House.
Sravasti, a Budhist place
of worship & faith, when attained an important place in the
International facade of ethnic tourism, The Maharaja realizing the need to provide comfortable lodging to tourists converted the Europian Guest House into a Hotel.
In the year 1979 the earstwhile European Guest
House was renamed as Hotel Mahamaya and opened to visiting
Pilgrims.Keeping alive the tradition of courtsey and service of the Oudh region, we at
Hotel Mahamaya leave no stone unturned to create a home for our
guests away from their homes.
